Warm Up With a Homemade Honey Latte
Simple. Comforting. Naturally sweet.
There’s something about a homemade latte that just feels like a hug in a mug—especially when it’s sweetened with raw, golden honey straight from the farm. Whether you're easing into a slow morning or taking a break on a busy afternoon, this honey latte is the perfect companion.
Here’s how to make your own at home, no fancy equipment required.
🍯 Homemade Honey Latte Recipe
Serves: 1
Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
-
1 shot (about 1 oz) of espresso
(or ½ cup of strong brewed coffee if you don’t have an espresso machine) -
¾ cup of milk of choice (whole milk, oat milk, almond milk, etc.)
-
1–2 teaspoons of raw honey (to taste)
-
Optional: a dash of cinnamon or vanilla extract for extra coziness
Instructions:
-
Brew your espresso or strong coffee.
If you don’t have an espresso machine, a French press or pour-over will do the trick. Just make it bold! -
Warm and froth your milk.
Heat the milk gently in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming, but not boiling. Use a milk frother, whisk, or mason jar (shake it with the lid on!) to get that frothy top. -
Sweeten with honey.
Stir the raw honey into your hot espresso or coffee until it melts completely. -
Combine and enjoy.
Pour the honey-sweetened coffee into your favorite mug, then top with the steamed milk and foam. Sprinkle with a bit of cinnamon if you're feeling fancy.
🐝 Farm Tip:
Using local raw honey adds not just sweetness, but subtle floral notes and immune-boosting benefits.
