We welcome thousands of visitors to the farm during our short strawberry harvesting season. Therefore we want everyone to have an amazing experience. So before you head out there door here are a few things to remember.

Picking your own strawberries is an enjoyable experience for the whole family. Store bought strawberries travel thousands of miles to get to you. Our strawberries are picked at the peak of freshness, they taste better, are more nutritious and picking your own can save you money! So grab your friends, your family, or come on your own. It only happens once a year here at Mayberry Farms! With a little planning you can enjoy them all year long.
Best Strawberry Picking Tips
Tip 1: Call ahead
Visit our Picking Updates page for current picking conditions. Another option we highly recommend is to call us ahead of time to make sure we are open and picking that day. The number of the strawberry hotline is (920) 387-3696.
Tip 2: Go Early
Strawberries ripen daily and get picked out by late morning. As a result, arriving early when the farm opens will enure the best selection and easiest picking.
Tip 3: Bring water
Stay hydrated and beat the heat.
Tip 4: Mosquitos
Be prepared. We are located on the Rock River and there certainly may be mosquitos.
Tip 5: Prepare for Sun
Sunscreen and wide brimmed hats are highly recommended.
Tip 6: Payment
We accept cash, local checks, credit and debit cards as well as WIC (Women, Infants & Children) checks.
Tip 7: Toilets
Porta potties as well as hand washing stations are available for your convenience.
Tip 8: Know How to Pick
