our farm policies

We have several policies to ensure safety and accountability at Mayberry Farms.

our Farm-safety policies

At Mayberry Farms we want you to have a safe and enjoyable experience. We also want to protect the safety of other guests on our farm. For this purpose we have many rules and safety-provisions posted on our farm. We have the following policies in place to provide accountability if any farm-safety rule should be violated.

Breaking a Farm-Safety Rule: We follow the “one-strike” rule at Mayberry Farms for all minor infringements. We will extend one verbal warning that a minor event or activity violates our farm-safety rules and a second infringement will result in immediate removal from the premise.

Trespassing/Violation of Restricted Areas: Any presence by an individual(s) in a posted “restricted” farm area or presence outside of regular posted business hours will result in potential legal enforcement. We are an active farmstead, so we designate and clearly post “restricted” areas and hours of business so that we can promote safety for everyone, including our farm laborers.

our return policies

At Mayberry Farms we want you to have the best experience with our products. Fresh strawberries are extremely susceptible to diminished quality after harvest so we have implemented the following policies to promote accountability and safe food-handling practices.

You-Pick Strawberries: Product must be inspected as you harvest the berries. No Returns or Refunds will be considered.

Pre-Pick Strawberries: Product must be inspected at time of purchase. No returns or refunds will be issued after product leaves the farm.

Farm-Store Items: Must be inspected at time of purchase. No returns or refunds will be issued after product is consumed.

our check policies

We reserve the right to request another form of payment.

Local Checks: Local is defined as a checking account owned by someone within Dodge, Fond du Lac, or Washington counties. We reserve the right to request another form of payment if the account holder resides outside of our listed area.

Returned Checks: Any check that is issued without available funds will be assessed a $15 returned check fee from Mayberry Farms. We request prompt attention to the matter and to have it resolved within 3 business days.
