Currently we are... PICKING UPDATES
LATEST UPDATE May 22, 2018 Current field conditions indicate a late berry harvest. The cool and unseasonably wet spring has delayed the crop 10+ days. The berry plants look amazing and have started to blossom. We are hopeful for more sun and warm weather to get them back on track. We are working diligently to refresh the straw and keep the fields free from weeds. We have already received 6+ inches of excess rainfall above our 5 year average in late April and May. The straw is showing some wear from all the rainfall. It may be another wet harvest, but we will do our best to mitigate the moisture. Please check out our new farm map to the right of this update. We will be using this resource to help inform people what fields we will be harvesting and what varieties will be available. We just finished planting 100,000 new strawberry plants (6 different varieties) that will be available for harvest in 2019. We have a lot of work until then, but we are excited to share our expansion efforts. We are currently planning for strawberry harvest to begin in late June. Stay tuned for more updates from the field over the next few weeks.
